About Gina...

Winner of the New York Book Festival Award and top finalist for the Compton Crook, IPPY, and Benjamin Franklin awards, Gina Farago is the author of Ivy Cole and the Moon and Luna, the first books in the Ivy Cole series. Her studies have included research on werewolf legends and lore, and personal interaction with a gray wolf pack, observing first-hand the animals' social behavior and hunting techniques.

Farago's other works include coauthoring Making Do: How to Cook Like a Mountain MeMa with Lois Sutphin. She lives in North Carolina with her husband, Karl, and their numerous four-legged friends. When not busy writing, Farago visits nursing homes with her therapy dog, Skittles.
